Signed and Singed

Blackwell urges her protégé Smudge not to strive to be overly ambitious in her tempting, reminding her, “We are not arsonists. We are mold.” Inspired by this, the pre-ordered books will not only be hand-signed by the author, but will have the edge of the title page lightly burned in a process we call Signed and Singed. Only the edge is singed, a small reminder that the work of hell is more subtle and invasive than we often imagine. This collector’s edition is perfect for gifting.
